How to run stable diffusion with no fuss on runpod

BY ZHEN LU - AUGUST 28, 2022
We've been hearing that a lot of people have been having trouble getting stable diffusion to work on cloud compute platforms. We now have a simple template that will let you get started with minimal fuss!

You can check out how to start a pod, you can check out this guide for starting a disco diffusion pod. All you need to change is to run the stable diffusion template rather than the disco diffusion one. Please note that it does take about 5 minutes for everything in the GUI to load up and you'll probably get a 502 error until it's done initializing. After it's done loading, you should be able to click on the connect to HTTP port 3000 to connect to your UI!

Here's an example of a lighthouse that was generated using the UI in 6.68s

This is just the start! We aim to add animations and better in-painting soon!

Credit to https://github.com/hlky/stable-diffusion/ for the amazing UI. We just automated the install on RunPod :)

Edit* we now use this fork: https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui and the UI looks slightly different!
