Top GMI Cloud Alternatives for AI Workloads in 2026

GMI Cloud sells dedicated NVIDIA capacity to enterprises. Five GPUs are listed with “from” prices, Contact Sales sits on every card, and there is no self-serve rate card, no published storage or egress pricing and no stated billing increment.

Teams look elsewhere for two reasons. Nothing in the catalog sits below an H100, so a workload that fits an L4 or an A5000 has no home. And you cannot find out what it costs without a sales conversation, which is the wrong shape when you need eight GPUs this afternoon.

Six alternatives below. Competitor prices carry the date they were verified. Runpod rates pull live.

What to check before you switch

Whether the price is a floor or a rate. GMI Cloud publishes “from” prices. So does TensorDock. A floor tells you where negotiation starts, not what you will pay.

Where the catalog stops at the bottom. Several options here start at the H100 and go up. If your inference workload fits a 24GB card, paying H100 rates to serve it is an expensive way to solve the wrong problem.

The billing increment. GMI Cloud does not publish one. On bursty work the increment matters as much as the rate.

Storage and egress. Neither is published by GMI Cloud. Several alternatives here charge per GiB rather than per GB, and 1 GiB = 1.074 GB. Convert before comparing.

Whether you actually need a contract. If your volume genuinely justifies committed capacity, a negotiated rate will beat any list price and the enterprise motion is the right one. The question is whether that is your situation or just the only option a vendor offers.

1. Runpod

Runpod is the strongest option if you want a published rate and a self-serve path.

Runpod publishes 21 NVIDIA cards from the RTX A5000 up to the B300, plus AMD MI300X at $2.39/hr on Secure Cloud, verified 31 August 2026. Fifteen of those 21 are priced below the H100 PCIe, which is the range GMI Cloud does not serve at all. Rates are published for every card on both tiers, storage starts at $0.05/GB/mo, and there are no ingress or egress fees.

Pods bill per second and cover development and long-running jobs. Serverless runs inference that scales to zero with sub-200ms cold starts via FlashBoot. Clusters provision multi-node training self-serve up to 64 GPUs. Reserved clusters with SLA-backed uptime are available for teams scaling to 10,000+ GPUs, so the enterprise path exists too, it is just not the only path.

Community Cloud sits below Secure Cloud, starting at {{gpu:rtx-a5000:community}}/hr for an RTX A5000. Runpod is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA and GDPR compliant, with SOC 2 reports, BAAs and DPAs available through the Runpod Trust Center. Coverage can vary by region and deployment model, so check requirements for your workload.

Where it stops: no GB200 or GB300, and no inference-as-a-service product in the shape GMI Cloud sells one.

Best for: teams who want to know the price before talking to anyone, and anyone whose workload fits a card below an H100.

2. Voltage Park

The most direct answer if H100 capacity at a low rate is the entire requirement.

They offer one GPU. H100 at $1.99/hr on the Ethernet tier and $2.49/hr with 3200 Gbps InfiniBand, verified 20 August 2026. Self-serve, provisioned within 15 minutes, no minimum term, scaling from 1 to 1,016 GPUs on demand and 32 to 8,000+ on reserve. No ingress, egress or support charges.

That $1.99 is below GMI Cloud’s $2.00 floor, and it is a rate rather than a floor.

Where it stops: there is no second GPU. No mid-range card, no serverless inference, nothing under $1.99. If your fleet needs more than H100s, Voltage Park cannot be your only provider.

Best for: H100 capacity at scale with InfiniBand, bought self-serve.

3. Verda, formerly DataCrunch

European, SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, and an NVIDIA Preferred Partner. The rebrand is complete and datacrunch.io now redirects to verda.com.

On-demand rates verified 31 August 2026: H100 SXM5 $3.25, H200 SXM5 $4.00, B200 SXM6 $6.11, A100 SXM4 80GB $1.79, RTX PRO 6000 $1.89, L40S $1.37, RTX A6000 $0.61. Published spot rates run at roughly half the on-demand rate on every card, which GMI Cloud does not offer at all. Reserved discounts run to 25% at two years. They also publish instant clusters with InfiniBand and serverless containers with scale-to-zero.

Storage is $0.20 per GiB per month, which is materially higher than several options here once converted.

Where it stops: rates are above GMI Cloud’s floors on the H100 and H200, and the storage pricing is expensive for data-heavy work.

Best for: European data residency with a published rate card, and anyone who wants a real spot tier.

4. Crusoe

A self-serve alternative with a wider catalog than GMI Cloud and a genuine platform around it.

On-demand rates verified 31 August 2026: H200 141GB HGX $4.29, H100 80GB HGX $3.90, A100 80GB SXM $2.30, A100 80GB PCIe $2.00, L40S $1.50, AMD MI300X $3.45. GB200 NVL72, B200 and MI355X are contact-sales. Managed Kubernetes is $0.10 per cluster-hour, CPU from $0.04 per vCPU-hour, and there are no ingress or egress charges. Billing is per hour or per second.

Where it stops: the top of the catalog is contact-sales, same as GMI Cloud. Storage is billed per GiB.

Best for: teams who want managed Kubernetes and a published rate card in one place.

5. Together AI

Worth considering if what you run is an open language model rather than custom code.

GPU Clusters are self-serve. On-demand rates verified 20 August 2026: HGX H100 $3.99, HGX H200 $5.99, HGX B200 $8.19, with reserved commitments bringing the H100 to $3.19 at 24 months. GB200 NVL72, GB300 NVL72 and HGX B300 are all contact-sales. They also serve and fine-tune open models on a per-token basis.

Where it stops: they publish nothing below the H100, so a small model that ran happily on an L4 has no cheap home here. Same gap as GMI Cloud.

Best for: open LLM serving and fine-tuning at a scale where an H100 is the right floor.

6. CoreWeave

The closest match to GMI Cloud’s enterprise shape, at larger scale.

Priced per 8-GPU instance, not per GPU, which is the trap when comparing. HGX H100 is $49.24 per instance per hour, which is $6.16 per GPU. HGX H200 is $50.44 per instance, $6.31 per GPU. A100 80GB is $21.60 per instance, $2.70 per GPU. Spot rates are published at roughly 40% of on-demand. All verified 18 August 2026.

Where it stops: the per-instance minimum means eight GPUs is the smallest unit on the big cards, and the per-GPU rates are the highest on this list.

Best for: large committed deployments where the account relationship and scale matter more than the hourly rate.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest GMI Cloud alternative for H100s?

Voltage Park at $1.99/hr on the Ethernet tier, verified 20 August 2026, which is below GMI Cloud’s $2.00 floor and is a published rate rather than a floor. They offer no other GPU. For a mixed fleet, compare Runpod’s pricing page, which publishes both tiers for every card.

Which alternatives publish a self-serve rate card?

Runpod, Voltage Park, Verda, Crusoe and Together AI all publish rates you can act on without a sales call. GMI Cloud and CoreWeave are sales-led.

Which has GPUs below an H100?

Runpod has 15 cards priced below the H100 PCIe. Verda and Crusoe both go lower than an H100. Voltage Park, Together AI and GMI Cloud do not publish anything below one.

Does anyone here offer spot pricing?

Verda publishes spot at roughly half its on-demand rate on every card. CoreWeave publishes spot at roughly 40% of on-demand. Runpod has no public spot tier; Community Cloud is the lower-cost option and is not preemptible.

Can I get GB200 or GB300 anywhere else?

GMI Cloud publishes GB200 from $8.00/GPU-hour and lists GB300 as pre-order. Crusoe and Together AI both carry GB200 NVL72 as contact-sales. Runpod publishes neither.

What does GMI Cloud charge for storage and egress?

Neither is published on their pricing page, which is one of the harder things to work around when modeling total cost. Runpod charges from $0.05/GB/mo for network storage and nothing for ingress or egress.
